A crazy adventure, but it was worth it

I liked the views, the streets, the historical areas; the buildings, the people I met who were traveling as me and also the people who were willing to help working in the hotels.

the many tour workers offering tours on the street; it took time away and it was annoying because as tourist you are already in a tour traveling enjoying your own discovery; specially some men who were very machistas the way they offered their tour services.

Perfect with earplugs

Location was good. Room, and bathroom were sizeable. Air conditioner worked well.

Being located on a curve means you hear the outside traffic for an extended period of time and windows don't block the sound.

Everything was almost perfect except I did have one bad experience immediately after I made my reservation on booking.com- the hotel sent me 'automatic' messages asking for immediate payment when the arrangement had already been stipulated as pay-on-arrival. This was really annoying AND unhelpful.

The hotel is completely stripped off services if you want ice they will tell you that they are doing you a favor by giving you five cubes of ice. Plumbing is a problem... basically the hotel is run with skeleton staff...Mr. Neyit at the reception needs to learn more about hospitality....Sandra in the kitchen is a darling , she's the definition of hospitality. .... Opinion in the end the property is tolerable and if I go back there I would only go back there for Sandra .

Very Good

Very friendly staff (most without English, though). Stable WiFi. Very clean, nice pool, close to the beach.

People very sensitive to noise might not like it, since the windows rattle and howl in the wind, and you hear everything going on in the street (which is a lot, especially during the weekend).

Nice large rooms, WiFi super quick! Tv and amenities included. Staff super lovely. Location perfect, away from the hussle and bustle, quiet but quick to get to town

Hotel has a pool but no sun-beds which would have definitely encouraged us to use it. Not a huge fan of breakfast but they do change it slightly everyday which was good

No sound deadening, loads of sounds in the morning coming from the busy street and the beach is not pretty there

Great Hotel for the Price

Location, location, location. Our friends were having a wedding at the Hilton across the street, so the Oceania was a great (and extremely affordable) option. The included breakfast was delicious and the hotel, facilities, and rooms were clean.

It would have been great if they had at least 1 person on staff that spoke English. There was no elevator which was not an issue for my wife and I since we're young but if you're older or disabled I would consider other options.

More style than substance

Lovely looking room with smart TVs. Loved the free pasta-compliments to the chef. Disappointed that most staff didn't speak English given it was called Oz hotel.

The shower was not hot, the shower sprayed in your face possibly due to limescale buildup effecting the flow. Did not provide enough toilet roll and I was only there for a couple of nights.

Superb

Nice large comfortable room, close to many restaurants, close to a couple of beaches, close to a lagoon where there was good birding. Breakfast was good. Shower was good. Bed very comfortable. Having a small fridge was great.

When we first arrived, very late, the young man at the desk was very, very unfriendly. To the point of being rude. Not one greeting. No hint of a smile. No explanation of anything. I don't know what assumptions he was making about me and my companion, but we both talked about it for the rest of our stay. Luckily everyone else was friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect. The hotel is very beautiful, clean and the personal were very kind. Breakfast was delicious. They helped us giving us a room a little bit earlier, since our flight was very early in the morning.

overall the stay was good

everyone was welcoming and it’s very clean.

I didn’t like the inability of the kitchen staff to make the simple breakfast that I requested. it was only two eggs per person and I usually eat 8 eggs. The buffet style breakfast honestly wasn’t good.
